Legalising Academic Credentials

South-African Academic Credentials intended for use in another country outside the borders of South-Africa must be Notarised and thereafter "Appostilised", "authenticated" or "legalised" (depending on the country the document is to be ultimately used in) in order to be recognised as valid in the foreign country.
The number and type of authentication certificates you will need depend on the nature of the document and whether or not the foreign country is a party to the multilateral treaty on "legalization" of documents.
We provide a comprehensive notary, authentication ( legalisation) and Apostille service on all educational documents that will be used in a foreign country. Depending on the destination country the service could inter alia include:
- Obtain Department of education certification of the tertiary institution;
- Notarisation of certificates;
- Obtain Apostille for documents intended for use in the Hague Convention countries;
- Obtain certification for non Hague Convention countries by attending the High Court, Department of Foreign Affairs and the applicable embassy for embassy (consulate) legalisation.
Please contact us if you have questions, need a quotation or want to get the process started.
